Nick Johnson grew up on a farm in northern Iowa with one older brother and an abundance of free time, which he used to practice shooting to become an efficient hunter. Nick was infatuated with firearms at an early age, getting his first 22lr revolver and 16-gauge shotgun at only eight years old.
Nick's family saw his talent and supported the safe use and practice of firearms, so they supplied him with guns and ammo, allowing Nick to handle more firearms and explore different types of shooting. Soon after, his natural talent began to show as he started doing trick shooting at the age of 15.
He worked at blue-collar jobs during the week and could not wait to return to the range, where he would shoot thousands of rounds on the weekends. In 2018, he started recording and posting his unorthodox shooting on social media, which created viral videos and reached 1 million followers on TikTok. Nick is now a well-known firearms enthusiast as "PewView," which employs him and others and supports his family by doing what he loves. Testing guns, winning competitions, recording TV shows and firearms-related commercials that keep the community entertained and well-informed about firearms.
Nick has tested and shot thousands of firearms during his life. His favorite gun to shoot will always be the 1911/2011 platform, and with WATCHTOWER Firearms, he will perfect the platform for the world to enjoy.
